RADIO 74 operates
year-after-year thanks to tremendous public good will, and the voluntary cash contributions
from individual listeners and families. This station is
independent, not controlled or financed by any particular church,
religious, philosophical or political organization, or by the State.
This is a labour of love. Our staff
is composed of some
100 volunteers, organized into teams,
most of whom work from home. Only
two people receive
salaries, which are modest.
All management personnel and the board of directors serve without remuneration of any
kind.

RADIO 74 Budget for 2008
Austerity budget: 190,000 Euros (about
315,000 swiss
francs, or $266,000 US).
Normal operations: 257,000 Euros (about
425,000 Swiss francs,
or $360,000 US).
Any excess funds will be applied to the building fund.
How much
should I send ?
To meet our needs in 2008
,
700 listeners
are needed to contribute, on average,
22 Euros (about CHF
36) per month.
Some listeners send much more, others a
little less. Thanks for doing what you CAN
do! No more, no less.
There is no fixed amount, and no membership fee. Your gifts are gratefully
received and wisely managed. You will automatically be placed on our mailing list to receive
the NEWSLETTRE about 3 to 4 times a year.
Suggestion
Give us "two minutes" of your time. Calculate how much you earn
working during 2 minutes each day. Send this small amount to RADIO
74 each pay day. A tiny amount from each listener means so very
much to your favourite radio station!

Donate at the post
Checks are not used very much in
Switzerland. Most Swiss pay bills or send donations by going to a bank
or the post, and increasingly financial transactions are done on-line.
If you send a donation through the post, also use a "pink slip"
(bulletin de versement). Blanks are available at the post. We can
send you pre-printed "pink slips". E-mail or telephone the
station. Pre-printed "pink slips" can be used to donate either
from the post or at a bank. Never send cash in
an envelop. It's illegal and could get lost.
